In 1941, the U.S. PBY found the German Battleship Bismark, leading to its sinking. The PBY, armed with bombs, sank many Japanese ships in the Pacific during the war and performed anti-submarine patrols worldwide.

The U.S. Marine Corsair was made famous by Medal of Honor recipient Marine Corps Major Pappy Boyington. Some will remember a TV show called "Black Sheep Squadron." You can see this famous aircraft, watch a flightline movie about it and meet a Pappy Reenactor.

The A-1 Sky Raider was a work horse with rescue forces in Vietnam. It could carry a lot of munitions and loiter for long periods over a downed pilot. It would keep enemy heads down while rescue helicopters recovered these airmen. Come see this famous war bird, see a movie on its exploits and meet one of those those very appreciative pilots.

This year's new class of inductees into the Cullman County Veterans Hall of Fame will be introduced.

Air Force tankers refueled the B-2 bombers en route to and back from our strikes on Iran's nuclear sites this year.
Come watch the KC-135 tanker flyover. It will be very loud and very proud.

This is a favorite every year for adults and kids alike. The Army Huey ground display offers you the opportunity to climb in the cockpit or get on the guns. You will also meet the veterans who flew it in combat while in Vietnam.

Each year we have a group of airline pilots and military veterans from Atlanta do a precision flight demonstration over the airport. This is always a crowd pleaser and a favorite among the kids.
